There is Ncc today! But i didn't came... wonder how my Part Bs are doing... i trust my platoon sergeants are capable of teaching so not to worry... well... i went for another Ncc training... kayaking training to be exact... the Sea District were preparing for their Annual Kayaking Expedition... Ain told us there might be a shortage of instructors for the training so she asked us to help... the "us" i'm talking about is me, Hakim and Hazwin... all three of us are official 2 star kayakers... so its a no tough job... i got the cert to prove if you all don't believe kayy! Hahax! Then we met Ain at Jurong East Mrt Station around 11.30am if i'm not wrong... boarded the train there and alighted at Sembawang... took a bus... drop somewhere near Nee Soon Camp... it was a long walk to Upper Seletar Reservoir... No Joke people... LONGGG... it is so far, deep in the area... reached around 1pm... lepak around... till 2 as it starts at 2.15... get ready... changed into wet gear... time to KAYAK! The kayak we used was called Bandit... its yellow in colour and somewhat flat... its hard to capsize but still can if you don't know how to operate properly... i'm not used to the kayak... what i usually used was Slalom or Dancer... Slalom is long and sharp at the bow and stern... meaning front and back... its kinda stable to go straight... for the Dancer... its easy to maneuver because its not that flat but the sides are round... i prefer to use it because its light and made of plastic... Slalom is fibreglass and i get itchy after using... so lets get back to the story... Yarh... i kayak for around 3 hours or so... GETTING DARKER! I mean my complexion... well... heck care... as long as i'm not melting or anything then its fine... during the training i get to meet new people like Jason and Tan... they are very cool people... such great friends i've made... everything ended around 7plus together with AAR from OIC and Major Oliver... went dinner with the Sea Cadet Officers at Causeway Point... Then head home... HERE I AM NOW TYPING! Hahax! That's all for today folks!
